The middle element does not heat. It was being used like this but it takes double the time and so have replaced it. This toaster could still be useful, particularly if you like the Smeg retro look but don't require frequent/quick toaster use. Otherwise could be handy for parts. There are a couple faint grey marks to the left on one side and general aging inside. Still looks lovely. Cream colour. Please view pictures & video Possibly an easy fix ? But I’m selling as spares or repairs because of this
