Clean the toaster regularly after use, once it has cooled. Wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth and mild cleaner, then dry with a soft or microfiber cloth. Empty the crumb tray after each use by sliding it out, washing it with non-abrasive cleaners, and drying it thoroughly before reinserting it.
