it lights up once turned on however the dscale light is on, i haven't used it i bought it from a carboot but its not as clean as i first though for me so it will need a good clean it dosen't have the dics with the barcode on that you put in to clean it, in between making drinks i am going to sell has spares or repairs as i am not 100% sure if it works but it lights up so it should do.
