We were really looking for something like this, and luckily found it. The slider attachment was a huge plus - it fits perfectly and makes cooking a breeze. However, we've had some issues with the lock sensor being sensitive to touch, which can be frustrating when you need to adjust things quickly.

It takes us around 5 seconds to try and remove the lock once we've set it, but sometimes that's just too long - we get impatient! But overall, our partner finds this hob safe enough for them to use independently, and from a design perspective, it looks lovely.

I purchased this induction hob without a professional installation, and that was a relief - there were no issues or hidden costs. The fact that the instruction manual included this statement only added to my skepticism, but I suppose you could say it's convenient if you have someone else doing the job. Despite the initial reservations, everything has worked out smoothly so far, particularly when it comes to using my kettle - it boils it in half the time of my old hob. One minor quibble is with the operating instructions themselves, which seem woefully inadequate and may prove a challenge for even the most confident user.

I'm impressed by how well this new appliance has performed since I installed it, particularly its power output compared to my previous model.
